Recordings: 2024 Referenda Listening Sessions

Over the past few months, the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) has hosted numerous community listening sessions to engage families, educators, and community members about the upcoming referenda on November 5th—one focused on facilities and the other on operations. These sessions have created valuable opportunities for dialogue, enabling participants to learn more about the referenda and voice their questions and concerns.

Below, you will find links to recordings of the recent listening sessions. We encourage you to listen to these conversations to better understand the details of the referenda and the valuable feedback gathered from our community. Your involvement is crucial to the future of our schools!

The Madison Public School Foundation, through our 501(c)(4) organization, Schools Make Madison Advocates, is leading the “Strong Schools, Strong Community” campaign. We advocate for a “yes” vote on both MMSD referenda, believing that these initiatives are essential for enhancing our schools and ensuring our students have the resources they need to succeed. Transparent communication and active community engagement are vital as we move forward together.
