What to Expect as a Principal Partner

As a Principal Partner, you will spend the morning of Thursday, October 30 beginning at 8:00 am at one of Madison’s 52 public schools, shadowing your assigned principal. You’ll engage in a variety of school activities — from classroom visits to staff meetings — gaining a unique window into the rewards and challenges educators navigate every day.

The morning concludes with a luncheon and facilitated discussion at the Alliant Energy Center, where Principal Partners, school leaders, and district officials reflect on the day and explore opportunities for deeper community collaboration. The event will conclude by 1:30 p.m.
