We provide a provide a rigorous educational setting for students to progress academically while exploring who they are as positive and powerful community members. We strive to help students think critically, develop a lifelong thirst for learning and acquire 21st-century learning skills. Together with our families we strive to create an environment that provides stability, promotes self-confidence and self-worth, and nurtures an awareness of the rich culture of our diverse school community.

- A thriving Unified Arts Department that includes the exploration of art, music, family and consumer education, world language, physical education, AVID, and technology exploration.
- A technology rich environment with all teachers infusing technology into their daily instruction and students working with one-to-one device.
- A thriving after school partnership with MSCR where students can explore competitive and non-competitive sports experiences, clubs and the largest middle school running club with competition in the annual mud run, state triathlon and cross country team.
- Shared campus with Schenk Elementary creates a K-8 experience where all students learn and grow together.
