Randall Elementary
Randall stands within cheering distance of the University of Wisconsin’s Camp Randall Stadium. While the school formally claims Regent Neighborhood membership, Randall is also home to the families from Bay Creek, Bay View, Bram Addition, Brittingham, Dungeon-Monroe, Greenbush, South Campus, and Vilas neighborhoods. Randall is an inclusive school, welcoming all children and their families to our learning community.
Welcome to Randall Elementary
Madison’s oldest operating school.
The landscape has changed since 1906, but the pride and sense of honor in being a Randall Raccoon have flourished. Randall Elementary houses grades 3-5 within cheering distance of Camp Randall Stadium. We pride ourselves on building students’ reading, writing and math skills that will serve them well as lifelong learners. We work together to fashion an approach that includes all students whom we challenge to maximize their achievement.
What Makes Randall Elementary Unique
A wondrous blend of traditional and progressive approaches to education.
- Since 1984, Randall has been a partner school with Franklin Elementary, a unique arrangement in that children from two school attendance areas join for pre-kindergarten through 2nd grades at Franklin and 3rd through 5th grades at Randall.
- Each of our 5th graders and retiring or leaving Randall teachers to create a tile to adorn our beautiful Randall hallways as a legacy.
- Annual Gallery Night provides an opportunity for 4th and 5th grade students to showcase and sell their artwork.
