A Campaign for Madison West High School
For the first time in its 90-year history, Madison West launches an unprecedented effort to secure generous philanthropic support of the school from alumni, families and friends.
In November 2020, Madison community members voted overwhelmingly in favor of the $317M Future Ready referenda package, which included $70M for Madison West High School. The Foundation was proud to lead the Vote Yes 2 Invest campaign under our 501c4 affiliate, Schools Make Madison Advocates.
The $70M package for West includes a new pool facility on the corner of Highland Avenue and Regent Street. After the November 2020 election, a group of staff, friends, neighbors, and alumni joined forces to raise additional funds in partnership with the Madison Public Schools Foundation. With an additional $1.87M, we will have the opportunity to expand the pool facility, a critical investment to allow West’s swimming and diving teams to utilize the pool at the same time. The larger footprint will also increase community access to the facility and the service delivery capacity for Madison Schools and Community Recreation.
With construction about to begin, help Madison West High School hit the touchpad in winning style!
