Shorewood Elementary School Endowment Fund
The income from the school endowment fund provides Shorewood Elementary School the opportunity for school-based grants to support creative and innovative projects in our school.
For the 2017-18 school year this funded the following project:
- Online subscriptions to apps Ten Marks for Math and Newslea for Reading. Ten Marks allows students to learn at their pace in a fun way while giving teachers the data that they need to inform instruction. Newslea allows each student to read the same information at their own reading level. Formative data will be collected by teachers from these apps to inform their next instructional move.
