Our Champion donors believe every student deserves an equal chance to succeed.
The Schools Make Madison Champions donor society was founded in 2018 to build a sustained base of support for the Madison Public Schools Foundation. Champion donors understand that strong, reliable financial support is critical to ensuring a high-quality and equitable education for all public school students in Madison. Champions make an unrestricted contribution of $500 or more to support the Foundation’s mission every year. We honor the individuals who champion our work through recognition and engagement during the year.

As a Champion, you provide a consistent source of funding and resources that drive results in our schools. For example, our Champions have helped us build and sustain critical Adopt-A-School Partnerships that have contributed over $3.26 million in resources over the last four years.
Supporting Innovative Initiatives
Champions enable us to innovate and meet current needs.
School and student needs can change quickly. With your support, we’re able to fund research and development that facilitates new opportunities for students. Most recently, support from Champions helped facilitate the creation of Schools Make Madison Advocates and gave us the bandwidth to launch initiatives like the Teacher Support Network.

What to Expect
Build a Pathway to Opportunity
When you become a Champion, we assure you that your gift will be put to work right away. Gifts can be made monthly, quarterly or annually and we offer a variety of options to fulfill your Champion donation. As a Champion, you will be invited to an annual donor reception and receive updated reports and newsletters throughout the year.
