Van Hise Elementary School Endowment Fund
The income from the school endowment fund provides Van Hise Elementary School the opportunity for school-based grants to support creative and innovative projects in our school.
Recently funded projects include:
- Support of a staff book study using the text Culturally & Linguistically Responsive Practices and the Brain by Zarretta Hammond. This book is considered one of the best sources of information for serving students who have been marginalized over time and is being used at many levels in MMSD.
